Created within an eight-month educational program for Dutch-Ukrainian teenagers aged 16–21, this project is a stage adaptation of William Golding’s Lord of the Flies.
During World War III, an evacuation plane crashes, leaving a group of teenagers stranded on an island — a metaphor for Earth, constantly torn by conflict and power struggles. They must build a new civilization without adults.
Eighteen young participants shared not only Golding’s story but also their personal confessions through monologues. Live music was composed and performed by the students, enriching the performance.
